Francisco José Pérez Arciniegas, better known as Franko, started in the world of singing at the age of 5 and soon delighted with his interpretation of popular rhythms, singing rancheras along with different mariachis.

He represented Colombia in the reality Latin American idol 2007 in Buenos Aires, reaching the top ten of participants.

He was positively received by juries such as John Secada and mentors such as Franco de Vita, Ricardo Montaner, Mijares, and Gloria Trevi.
